Older wheels, new TPMS?

I'm considering buying a second set of rims (used, Style 83, a few years old), which don't have TPMS units.

Can current TPMS units be used with these pre-2008 rims?

I have a 2008 Clubman S. I plan to mount conventional tires but hold on to my noisy, harsh and hard Conti run-flats and the original 16-inch wheels.

Yes, you can mount TPMS on any wheel for a MINI that uses TPMS

Thanks

I'm still learning what it means to drive a late-model car, so thanks for the advice. Mini dealer techs confirm as well. Picked up my new (gently used) rims yesterday.
