Was calling around today to check on some tire prices, and a local tire show suggested I look at Nexan brand tires. Never heard of them until today, but the more I search on the web...the more I see where people seem to really like them.

Do any of you guys run Nexan tires? if so, which ones?

I have them onmy suburban and have been very happy with them. The wear factor is very good. But I don't know about on the Mini. I The price on them was would guess gthat with the milage I am getting out of them on the suburban that the compound it very had and not very sticky if you drive it hard. I drive my wifes mini and my street rod like I stole them. But on the part getter they have been great

 

Nobody has tried these on their mini??

 

I remember seeing a Wal-Mart ad featuring Nexen tires for something like $37/each. That was enough to sour me on the brand.

 

Yeah, that doesn't really sound like a very good "quality" tire. If I remember right, the ones I saw that fit the minis were around $100 or so. I wonder if they have different grades/models of tires...some better than others?

 

i had them didnt really like them that much but for the price u cant go wrong...

i really like the toyo proxi s... best grip and performance

Doesn't Discount Tire Direct sell them. Perhaps there are customer reviews there.
