I just bought a set of 16" Blizzacks on Rial Melano wheels from Alex. Haven't had any snow to test them yet but the ride is much more comfortable over bumps than with my 17s. They felt very secure In a torrential downpour.

Tire rack service was great and FAST. One wheel had a small defect and they sent a replacement super fast. Great to deal with!

 

General artic altimax, I have confidently gone where awd couldnt even get close.

 

The General Artic Altimax are very under rated, great tires. In the past I've also run the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's and those are pretty decent also. They ride more like an all-season but still have excellent snow traction.
