Hi:
My wife just got a 2012 mini copper s. We need to put winters on the car. The summer tires are 205/45/17 can you put any other size tires (talking about width not height) on the same rims as the summer tires? Thanks,

Yes, a common size is a 205/40-R17 or even a 215/45-R17.
But if you want a narrower tire, you'll want a 16" wheel to reduce the width of the wheel and give more choices of winter tire applications.
