least brake dust attracting 2012 wheels?
least brake dust attracting 2012 wheels?
We have two Mini Cooper Ss: a 2007 and a 2008. Brake dust easily hoses off the 2007's (sidewinder) wheels. The 2008's (bridge spoke) are much more work. We are going to order a 2012 Cooper S. Of the current crop of wheels, which are the least susceptable to brake dust?
No idea - but I think I'm going to have to start polishing my wheels. The brake dust is brutal on my MC 16" blaster alloys and will not wash off with a power washer.
I'm thinking the JCW Challenge spoke wheels might be worse.

Rick, I think you are going about this backwards. Throw away the crap stock BMW front brakes and get some good ceramometallics (low dust) like I did, then order whatever the heck strikes your fancy. Good 2 go.
Rick, I think you are going about this backwards. To get them clean, you must first get them dirty..

Just thought the intro was funny. Not trying to be rude to Clubman or you... Sometimes I only humor myself.
