I have Chili Red 05 MCS convertible, with 17" stock rims.

I wore out the OEM dunlop runflats long ago. And then I bought used set of tires (Goodyear F1's) few years back. Now those are pretty much worn out, and I need to buy a new set.

And I've been drooling at OZ Superturismo WRC (white) rims - I think they look gorgeous on Red (or blue) Mini's.

So this is my chance to get a new set of rims and tires.

I know OZ makes rims for WRC and F1 cars. I may save a few hundred bucks by going with other brands but I'd just bite the bullet and get the best rims out there. No questions on quality. So that's all good.

Now I have to choose between 16 or 17in. I know 16" gives more comfort and less harsh ride, but 17 looks better....

But Does 16 look really that bad compared to 17?

Does anyone have 16" OZ rims on their Mini's

STOP IT!!!! Y'all making me jealous with the Superturimo's. Jason, are these your daliy driver tires or your sporty look tires or winter tires for these fine wheels?

 

I have 17" Ultraleggeras in grey on my DS '09 and I saw a car on the rack at MINI recently with the 16s on it and I could tell right away, from 50+'. The looked ok but the 17s look even better.
