Which tires for the track?
The Direzzas are the best street-and-track tires I found. They get chewed up quickly but that's the trade-off for grip. Last season I went over to slicks and changed them at the track. Takes 30 minutes tops and takes you to the next level.

We used the RE-11s again, this time on Shawn and I shaved more time off my best. I got some more RE-11s this time in 17" for the new JCW, and I'm having a hard time matching my previous bests.
I still like the RE-11s and will probably stick with them. One thing I do like is they don't need to be pumped up hard to save the shoulder from wearing. I only need to pump them up to 35 psi, rather than the 41/38 I used with the Direzzas.
We still have some graining, but only on the rears strangely enough.

Speaking of Direzzas, the next gen are coming out in mid-February and it looks like the Tirerack is already accepting orders for them. Should be the best street tire to get in the Spring! http://www.onehotlap.com/2012/11/dun...i-tire-as.html
