I'm waiting for my O.Z Ultraleggera to be delivered.
Going to put Pirelli PZero Corsa on them.
Had them on my other cars and I don't think anything come close to them.
For all season however I like the Continental DWS best.

I am sure 7.5" would be optimum - Hankook rates that tire for 6-8" rims. I was also concerned being on the low end of the acceptable rim width, however, at $100 a tire a mistake was not going to cost much and I really wanted more grip fo AutoX. I can say I have seen every kind of Mini S/JCW this year with various max performace summer tires and driver skill levels... but they all have been consistently, and significantly, slower than me with one exception - another Mini just like mine but with a good driver and Hoosiers. Good luck with whatever you try.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 205x45x17. I am very happy with these tires in my spirited driving style. V. Good grip in dry & wet conditions, steer response, & braking ability. I cannot tell if they are quiet as my exhaust system is LOUD.
Being a Summer HP Tire, one of the acid test was when we had a cold spring weather this year that went as low as 3*Celcius and wet...no drama driving within legal speed limits.
Excellent tire for the money.

I dont own a MINI, but I am around them alot...so Ill say which tires NOT to use on a MINI

Pirelli Euphoria- Garbage tires, most uneven wear I have ever seen, and they get ungodly loud after a few thousand miles.
Goodyear- Just not a fan of goodyear tires, and they dont seem to do very well on MINI's, wear very quickly and make noise like the Pirelli's
Kumho- Again, they get choppy, very fast, just like the above 2.

The Continental ContisportContact 3's are the best wearing, best gripping tire I have seen (from the dealer). BUT, they cost a ton of money. They do handle the camber pretty well without getting choppy from what I have seen. The stock 16" Turanza's arent terrible either, but they dont really grip too well.

So what would you say is a good 17 inch "All Season" tires? I am almost never going to do snow driving, but from time to time I get caught in light snow.

Also looking for a quiet tire. I hate the drown of a tire.

Also anyone in the DC metro area want to buy a set of brand new stock run flats. Thinking of having the run flats removed at time of delivery.

See post 24 and 25. I use the Continental on my cars. Excellent in rain and light snow.

And the price is very good for that tire. They also are not rated bad.

Any of the tires listed above will improve the ride of your car tremendously over the runflats. I run #6 on the second list and love 'em so far.
