Hi All,
I just purchased my '09 Mini about a month ago. Earlier this week I was at my local Mini dealer (3 hours away!) and picked up a flier about tires; this interested me since I will need to purchase winter tires for where I live and new summer (all season) tires in the spring. The flier recommends that we only purchase "Mini Approved" tires but doesn't list what those brands and models are. I understand why, they want us to purchase them from the dealer. Does anyone know where to find a list of what the "Mini Approved" tires are? I know they can be found cheaper at Tire Rack, just wish I knew what they were!

From the manual:
For each tire size, the manufacturer of your MINI
recommends certain tire brands. They are
marked with a clearly visible MINI designation
on the sidewall of the tire.

The designation is a five-pointed star inside a slightly elongated circle. I'm not making this up but I am laughing.
