Trying to decide what color wheels to go with for my AstroBlack R56. I trying to decide between grey or black. While I do want to make my Mini all black, I feel like the blue in my Astro Black is kind of on the stronger side and might not looked the best with a black wheel. The grey seems like they could be a good contrast, but I havent found any pictures of an Astro Black Mini sitting on grey wheels. Any photos of an Astro Black Mini on black or grey wheels would be appreciated.

I don't have any pics, but I, too, have an Astro Black MCS. And I think either of those would look fantastic. But if you're blacking out...are you going all out black or are you just going darker than the chrome flashes and such? If you're going totally blacked out, I think the black wheels are the way to go. But if you're going to keep some accents...the gray might look perfect.

 

I have an Astro Black too. My vote is for the grey wheels. Much like the car itself the grey will look darker at night and in the shade, similar to the unique traits of the paint color on our cars.

 

I have black crownspokes that I used for winter and gunmetal colored wheels for my summer wheels. They have some blue in them, but I would say they are more dark gray and works well with the astro black. I would chose the black wheels, if you are going for the black out look.

 

I am considering those exact same wheels in 17" diameter for my next car

They remind me of the style of wheels offered on the previous gen Cooper.

 

Anybody have pics of a Cooper with the Motegi Racing MR121 rims?
