Can it be done?

My buddy has a set of rims off his Honda accord, we took it to discount tire to get them put on my car and balanced up and they said the bolts would not fit into the rims and there was nothing we could do. Is this rite? The rims will cost me next to nothing and i really need something to stick my tires to the ground i spin like crazy if i try to launch the only problem with my car lol. Is their anything i can get to make them fit?

What year Honda accord? Alloy wheels?

If the bolt pattern was the same, but the holes were too small, you can drill them out.

If the Honda wheels have a different bolt pattern from the MINI, you are out of luck.

I’m pretty sure its a 2001, its a universal 4 bolt so it should fit i thought about drilling it but im not sure if its possible its pretty close to the edge.

Better check out that "Universal 4 bolt".
MINI's are 4-100.
There are several oreintal car mfg. that use a 4-114.
Will not work.
Better check out what the offset is also before buying them.
If they don't fit the car why bother to get them.
Drilling out stud holes is not a great idea unless you have a machine shop do it.
They have the right equipment to do the job correctly.
3/8" drill motor won't cut it on that type of precision job.

dboard7: You might also consider that MINI wheels are "hub centric" not lug centric. If you drill out the lug holes, it is really important to get a hub centering ring that is appropriate for the MINI hub and Honda wheel center. Just something to consider....the guys at Tire Rack might be able to help you with the hub diameters and availability of centering rings.

This just sounds like a bad idea. I wouldn't be drilling and screwing around trying to jury rig wheels onto your car.
