Just got my jetblack R53 Mini
i love it so far but needs some new shoes and a height adjusment
looking at the rota mc 18x8 and vmaxx coilovers do you think they would fit ?
would rubbing issues be bad? and what would a good tire size be?

 

How much you rub will depend on how low you go on the coilovers. 215/35 will best minimize rubbing

 

so theres going to be automatic rubbing w/ coils and 18s? no getting around it?
cause i really want to go with these 18x8s if the rubbing isnt THAT extreme with a good stance from coils
but if it would be bad id go to the 17x7.5 miros..

 

Whether it rubs or not is based on the size of the coil and inboard width on the wheel at a given offset.

Best bet is to buy the suspension first and physically measure yourself to see what clearance issues you have. Spacers fix inboard issues, and trimming / rolling fixes outboard issues.

 

rubbing can be fixed with a some trimming no biggie
