Another positive "dropped the runflats" post

I used the stock Dunlop runflats on my R53 until they needed to be replaced. Picked up my car from the shop last night with new rubber installed and noticed the difference immediately when I oversteered a little coming out of my parking spot.

The steering feels lighter and the ride is way more comfortable. I'm excited to see how the handling has been affected, but I am getting good vibes for now. Switched to Yokohama Avid Envigors based on the reviews here, if anyone's interested.

A little shout out to Tyrol Sport in Queens, NY for doing a great job with a professional attitude.

Welcome to the club! I ditched my RFTs for Hankook V12 Evo's about 6-8 weeks ago & immediately noticed a difference in ride quality. I also noticed that the Hankook's - not being RFT - have a softer sidewall, and therefore gave me slightly more body roll, or sensation of flex when cornering.

Give your tires 200-500 miles to break in, and wear the lubricants off the new rubber. I noticed a bit of slippage if I hit the fun pedal in mid-corner. Not a lot, but a bit. After break-in I have to really get on it mid-corner to break the tires free at all.

Enjoy the new & improved ride!
