About a month ago, less than 150 miles after installing 4 brand new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's, I got a puncture on the freeway and didn't know it until I did a lane change and the handling felt rubbery and I then looked at the pathetic little warning light. The tire was toally flat with me cruising at 75+ and, of course, it was ruined. I plugged it temporarily and the inside side wall bulged badly so I had to drive around for a week on it slow and staying off the freeway and highways until the replacement came in.
So, my question is this: Has anyone hooked up or rigged up some sort of audible warning for the system? It sure would be nice to get your warning earlier than later.
Thanks much!

Mine has an audible warning. Yours didn't ding?
Mine's the same sound as the low washer fluid.
Mine's the same sound as the low washer fluid.Hmmmm......maybe it does and I just didn't notice it with the wind roar. What year is your Mini?
If it's already got an audible sound, that's good because I may be able to tap into the device used to make the noise and have it make a louder noise.
Does anyone know where the device that makes the ding is located? And how it's wired up?

'09 MCS here. No clue about the location/wiring of the device, though. Good luck!
Yep, there's definitely a *ding* (on my '04), but it is the same as the ice warning, or the low gas warning, or ... Not sure where it originates.
