17 Wheels fitment on mini 2010 base hardtop

Hi all,
I'm new. I'd like to ask some things.I bought an mini base hardtop 2010 that came with 15" wheels in march-2010.Now i want to upgrade to 17" wheels 8 spoke... are those wheels fit on mine ? and do i need any changes like lugs( or current stock lugs fit on new wheels?),spacer or suspensions..?
Thanks alot for your help !

17" wheels should fit fine assuming the offset is MINI-appropriate.

No need to change lug bolts or need spacers or change suspension if the wheels are around 42 ET for offset as already mentioned.

Just remember 17" can give you a much stiffer ride and the wheel tends to be heavy, potentially reducing your wheel HP.
