OK, so I just picked up some brand new take-offs from the parts department at the Sterling, VA dealership. Got a set of 4 new R83 (Daytona) rims with Dunlop SP 3000 run-flats..no miles. I'm in the process of looking for some all-seasons for my R85 S-Lites (which are a little beat-up) to run this winter. (Alex should be getting a call from me soon!)

I'll be storing the R83s and SP 3000s in my apartment until spring. Temperature won't be a concern, but tire inflation is. Should I leave the tires inflated until spring, or take the air out (and the tension off) until I slap them on in spring? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks...

psi doesn't really matter, but i put about 32psi in there so that when i
stack them, the rim's don't hit the papercardboard which i sandwich.

Thanks for the advice...definitely have the cardboard in there already! I'll check the pressure, and make sure it's down in a reasonable range.

OK...new plan. I'm piling two tires each on either end of my couch. Cardboard underneath, between, and on top of each pair. Top with small lamp and beverage. Instant end tables! (To replace the cardboard boxes I'm currently using.)

City living=no garage=new end tables.

I did similar. Stacked them 2 high and have a glass top over them for a coffee table!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! Do you think that will help convince the girlfriend it's a good idea?
