I think you're onto something. I'm surprised someone hasn't already done that...especially to a clubman. My mind's eye sees it as a retro woody/surf wagon. Somebody with a Mac or really good at photoshop should trim one out for us. I bet Craig "COOPERation" could hammer one out pretty quick.
