Ok I was thinking about changing out to non runflats as my OEM Dunlop runflats were getting pretty bad. They still had tread on them but I was really starting to loose confidence in them.
The non rf's I was looking at ran about $140 without install so that is where I set my price range. I know I could have found cheaper tires but you need to understand i am here in Germany and shipping will put added cost and then install price racks up the final price as well. Well, I found the ContiSportContact 3 SSR's for right around $150 installed.
These tires are AWSOME! STICKY TOO!

These tires are very quiet and hold the road very well. Here in San Antonio, there are good and bad roads. They remind me I'm running runflats when I hit an expansion joint or a rough surface. I cringe if there is rough terrain I can't avoid. So far, tread life has been very good. I've had them since 10/09 and have put about 8k on them.
