Im praying that i get a r53, so now im trying to figure out what the best rim/tire combo is. i really would love to find a rim thats size 17, black with nice looking tires.. but im not sure what is good for a mini cooper, and like how wide you can go with stock things thanks soo much who ever helps out

Max width I read on here that you can safely go is 215. Right now I am running 215/45/17. They're great for handling, just that the fronts sometimes rub the fender's blackish plastic trim on bumps and really really tight turns. You can also go with 215/40/17 which clear fine, although the gap is too big for my taste. OEM is skinnier, 205/45/17.
