MCS R56 17" Stock Wheels

I want to change my tires 205 45 17 to somthing wide to look cool on my lowered Mini with H&R Spring, does 225 40 fit?
Do you have any different suggestions?

It fits, the problem is there is only 2 tires in that size. One is a Hoosier track tire with a 40 treadwear and the other is a Nitto NT555 tire that has the most horrendous reviews ever. It is suppose to be a drag race tire, but people said on Discount Tire reviews that they were a downgrade from oem, there was not one positive review fot the NT555 when I read it. But if you just want a cool wide look and are willing to dismiss actual performance the NT555 may work for you, they do look cool and are cheap too. I would suggest something on the complete opposite side of the spectrum like Dunlop Star Specs or Yokohama AD08 in 215/40-17 these are "Extreme Summer" tires not meant for any type of real winters but offer ultimate dry street grip. For an all around tire the "Ultra High-Performance All-Season" tire the Falken ZE-912 in 215/40-17.

I live in a hot weather country so summer tires will be perfect.
