Are these decent rims and tires?

Before I go and place my order, I figure I will make sure I have everything all set. This is my first time ever buying new rims and tires. I finally have the rims picked out, and I think the tires. I went a little over my budget, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

Here are the rims I am thinking of getting: 17x7 Enkei Tuning SC05 Bright Silver Paint

Here are the tires I want them wrapped in: 215/45R17 XL Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Now my question is on the rims. I know they are for a Mini, but these will only be 4x100 meaning only 4 holes. I don't want rims that are able to fit any size bolt pattern I hate that look.

Also I have an 06 JCW, does it matter on the build date that I choose as I am honestly not sure. Pretty sure its after May.

If all goes well I will be placing my order on Sat.

Thanks,

Ken~

I love the rims. Enkei has a solid reputation. I'm not a fan of Continental tires but those seems to be rated highest in it's class by the consumers. So I say great choices!

Any other tire you would recommend then?

I would like something that will be good in dry, and okay in wet and will last more than 15,20K miles. I don't race the car or track it, but do some sprinted driving. Also would like the tire to be quiet.

Thanks,

Ken~

I just put a set of Conti DWS on my '08 MCS, the same size as yours. I moved up from the stock 16" runflats and I'm very happy. I only have a few hundred miles on the Conti's, but so far they are very quiet and seem to have good grip. They do have great reviews on TireRack and with the 50,000 warranty, they should give pretty good wear. Great choice!

Continental ExtremeContact DWS tire seem great, just wish they offered better sizes.
Check out the wheel on tire rack's view on vehicle option.
The Enkei are decent, but for looks in the same price and weight range I like
Tire Racks Elbrus 104 for $126
