Curb Rash + White Wheels = Help!
Curb Rash + White Wheels = Help!
So, this morning a lady driving towards me darts over into my lane to go around someone dropping off thier kids, and I instinctively get closer to my side, unfortunately, there was no further to go, and my front wheel scraped against the curb...I'm so upset cuz my car has less than 800 miles on it.
The curb rash on my wheel is approximately six inches on the outer rim of the wheel. Is there a cheap and effective way to fix it so it looks new again?
If you bought the wheel/tire protection, it's free!
If not, your local Mini dealer probably has a guy....We've had our Z4 wheels fixed at the local BMW dealer. The wheel guy comes in once a week and charges a flat fee...I think it was $50 or $75 for some sanding, buffing and paint. The rim is still damaged, but looks a whole lot better.
