Confused

Just put the snow tires on my '05 MCS that I got during the summer. These are just inexpensive snow tires on steel wheels. Question. I thought some kind of light was going to stay lit on the dash now that the run flats were off. There is nothing to indicate that the run flats are no longer on the vehicle. Is this correct?

uses the ABS sensors to look for low pressure. Newer versions (2nd gen, R55/R56/R57) use the wireless TPMS system to check for low pressure. First gen cars will be happy with any wheels and tires if the pressures are good. 2nd gen needs wheels with the TPMS mounted or you get the light.

All is good!
