I changed my x-lites out for s-lites and discovered that the lug bolts on the x-lites dont look all that nice on the s-lites. Are there different lug bolts for the s-lites? Or are the lug bolts just painted?

 

The lug bolts for MINI wheels that have a cap that covers them(x-lites) are usually yellowish in color...the MINI wheels that have exposed lug bolts(s-lites) are black. You can paint/powder coat the ones you have black or just buy them that way.
