I would use the Conti's if i had to, I have had 1 Blow out and 1 flat in 18 months with this car, both times on Non Run Flats, I now carry a full size runflat spare that fits perfect behind the rear seats. I have it strapped in along with a few other tools. I drive in excess of 500 Miles a week and I like the fact I have a spare now, as i wont use the runflats for everyday driving

Oh boy. Look...

I detest runflats. All that means is they are the wrong kind of tire for ME. Same goes for you Our OP has found they are the right kind of tire for HIM. There is nothing wrong with that.

More to the point, in his initial post he acknowledged that not everyone agrees but that just the same, he was hoping for advice. So how is telling him he's wrong helpful, when he's not wrong? If you can't say something constructive ... well, you did at least tell him to give Alex a ring
