Last night getting onto the freeway in SF frickn' hit a pothole. Checked this morning and my rim was bent and tire damaged. So I had to put the stocks back on......while taking of the rear wheel I noticed it was bent as well.....@#$%*&!! Has anyone filed a claim against a city with success?

 

I am curious to know if you acquired any mushrooming because of this incident. If the rims were damaged I would guess your strut mounts have mushroomed also (?)

 

my sister-pot hole on o'shannasy -two bent wheels, killed one tire. took pics of pot hole and damage to car filled claim, they payed off about 3 months later. hope this helps !

 

Was looking at the strut towers and I think I have mushrooming will probably get the MM plates to correct the issue.

can this kind of pay back from the city still happen in today's sad economic times? especially in california?

i bent one of my wheels on a LA freeway 2 weeks ago, so if this claim filing process works, I would want to file one.
