E36 wheels on an R53?

Anybody try this? I have an old set of M3 rims that are 5x120's and am thinking of getting the adapters to put them on the r53.

What do you think?

If you can find a stud adapter that will go from 4x100 to 5x120, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.

i saw a pix in the most recent MINI mag (somewhere towards the back of the issue) of an r53 with a set of Porsche Carerra S wheels and it looked awesome! I bet the e36 m3 wheels would at least give it an unique look. only thing i wonder about, though - adapters and extra parts increase the likelihood of vibration transmitted into the steering wheel and the cabin because now you have extra parts that also have to spin with the wheels/tires. just something to keep in mind
