Do We like the Dust shields for our Wheels?
it says in the mini handbook manual not to use them, and I tend to agree most people on here have been pretty negative abotu them. try searchign for them, thought i can understadn your frustration I have the white wheels and i don't have the neergy to clean them every other mintue I never seen so much brakedust! I am goignt o eventually change otu teh pads to the grrn stuff ones,, unless soemthign better comes along.
>>anyone have these dust shield that fit betwixed the hub and the wheel? they worthwhile?
I do not have them, but would be concerned about how they might affect the flow of cooling air, and thus could contribute to brakes getting very hot, pad glazing etc...

Dust shields are not recommended as they prevent air from getting to the hub and pads and will cause these to heat up and warp. The best solution is to buy new brake pads such as the EBC Greenstuff or the like. This will significantly cut down on the brake dust.

I don't have them myself but I've heard they prevent air from reaching the brakes to keep them cool. I wouldn't install them on my car personally.
If you're looking to reduce brake dust, you could switch your brake pads to EBC Greenstuff or something similar. Many people swear by these for their low dust production. I will be getting some of these in the near future myself.
