one of my co-workers uses them on his car for autocross (I know, dragradials for autocross whould-tha-thunk?) but they swear by them. any one else have this experience?
I have driven them on the track before. While you can do what I call the "miata launch" (5k rpm and drop it out!) with virtually no tirespin, I felt their cornering sidewall ridigity less predictable than the Hoosiers I use.
Why would you use a drag tire to autocross....??? when Kuhmo makes 2 types of r compound auto-x/road race tires... Hoosier has 2 compounds to choose from... Yokohama has 2 compounds to choose from....... Yes I am aware that the NITTO Drag tire was originaly based on some sort of "track" tire But I seriously doubt it would fare well against current generation r-compounds.... (and just wait for next years offerings...!!!!... I've seen pictures)
