Enkei RS + M: how strong are these rims?

In an earlier thread, this question was asked. Leo B. (Edge Racing) noted that the production process should insure a quality rim; but nobody spoke to real-world, everyday experience with these wheels. Meanwhile, "Ambrosia", in another thread about another wheel said, "There is a difference between lightweight and strong (but expensive) and just lightweight and not so durable (but cheap)." Many people certainly know this to be true.

So where do these particular Enkeis fall within that spectrum? When you have time, can those of you (gnatster, chickenplucker, and others) who run, or have run, this wheel weigh in with your thoughts about strength and durability? If so, thanks!

I have them wrapped in R comp type rubber and use them on track. I'd certainly not do that if I felt they were not strong..

Can I categorically state you will not have any issues every under any circumstance, no. But I feel comfortable enough with them to zip around a corner at 1.3 g's

I've been running these wheels on the crappy streets of Pittsburgh for the past two years and never had a problem. They are strong, light an clean up like new. This is real world experience.

Cheers...

Yes, I've driven the crappy streets of Pittsburgh more than a few times and I concur that that's a real-world test! Thanks.
