Does anyone have an opinion one way or another on whether it is worth the $750 beans to upgrade to the 17" Crown Spokes? I have an SS R55 on order that can still be changed and given that I've seen several Crowns for sale, I'm thinking that people don't like them for some reason and that I should save the $750 for a spree at Tire Rack and get the Bridge Spoke 16s with the car.

 

16" Bridge Spoke wheels and runflat tires are fine. Probably more comfortable, and saves money.

As a matter of looks some people like the 17" wheels or the Crown Spoke looks. Functionally it's a little rougher riding due to lower profile and stiff sidewall tires.

Save the money and buy used or nearly new Crown Spoke wheels later if you want.

Non runflats will work the best, choose 205/50-16 to fit the stock 16" wheels.

 

Order the 16" Bridge Spokes with the all-season tires and use them as your winter tire setup. Use the $750 for your spring-summer-fall setup. That's what I did.
