Not exactly black, but these come in black (with or without a polished rim)...

MotorOn, you're the first I've seen to run a 50 series sidewall. Any rubbing issues because of the added height, and is your car lowered at all? One of the things I like so much about your setup is the way the wheel well is filled and you actually have a sidewall (better ride I'm assuming).

Catseye: Those are gunmetal I assume? They look almost black . . . and look great on your car.
Thanks

Still on the stock springs with no real rubbing issues (as long as I can avoid the bottomless Chicago potholes, thankfully I'm out of town for an extended period). I went with the 50s cause they were what was in stock, the ride is certainly smoother than the 40s and the runflats were, but I don't notice a huge change over the 45 non RFs. I have plans to lower the car, so we'll see how that turns out.

Didn't want to start a new thread, so here goes:

Does anyone know if you can paint a polished lip black? I want ASA AR1 in gloss black, but I don't like the polished lip, so I would like to know if you all think that I could have just the lip painted to match, or if I'd have to repaint the whole wheel?

My guess would it would be VERY hard to match the sheen of the wheel, so you'll probably have to have the entire wheel done. Try it and see. You can always go back and repaint if the sheen doesn't match.
