Paint or powder coat?

Just bought some used white Subzeros. Two went straight to my powder coat guy as they has curb rash. The third looked fine so I cleaned it up (Simple Green is GREAT stuff BTW). Once I dug into it I found an area about the size of a quarter where the paint had peeled. There are also some marks around the lug bolt holes (as should be expected) as well as a couple of minor scratches elsewhere. I'm a bit **** about all the wheels looking good to start with, but don't want to spend another $75 on powder coating the third wheel for such minor repair work, but not sure how much it would cost to have it professionally painted? DIY is not really an option as I have no skills here...unless this would be incredibly easy.

Slightly different Q: Over time, will wheels that were powder coated look different than wheels that are painted/clear-coated?

Personally I would do the Powdercoat, because I think it will hold up better than paint would. Just my 2 cents!
