Wheels Worth It?

A friend of mine is trying to get rid of a set of wheels. he wants $150 for them the are 15" wheels with used set of Toyo Proxies 205/50/r15s I believe. Not sure what kinda wheels they are (not major company) The tires only have a one or two autocrosses in them but the wheels are what Im interested in. The are in pretty good shape, no curb rash or stuff like that.

Heres a pic.

I figured I would re paint them white so the finish isnt a big deal, They are a bit nicked up paint wise. they are very dirty in the photo too so.

What do you think. Worth it?

I don't think you can beat that price, especially with tires. Only you can say if they are wheels to love.

Once you paint them, they will look like good.

They arent my favorite wheels, but I cant afford the wheels I really want, and if anything I have at set of slicks I play with for a little bit, and some track wheels for the future.

They are 15x 6.5 and 35 or 38mm offset. So the should fit right?

It will be close and depend on the tires, but you should be good.....my wheels were 15x6.5 et33 before I added the wider lips.

Yours will be 2 or 5mm further in, but here is 15x6.5 et33 with 195/50/15

Running those tires? A massive amount of wheel gap. It will have .5" more wheel gap than it does stock. (the car itself will be .5" lower though)

I really like this look with the 225/50/r15s so that could be a possiblity if I dont like the look with smaller tires, which I can check out with the slicks on
