Bedding in New Brake Pads

I'm about to change out the pads/rotors on my '03 MCS and have read that I need to bed in the new pads (I've chosen EBC Greenstuff pads). Can anyone enlighten me as to what this entails?

FYI, the pads you've chosen aren't very good .

Since I just installed a full set of the EBC greens yesterday, I was wondering about your statement? They appear to work just fine... Bear in mind that my car is not used on the track, but a daily driver. I have not previously heard any negatives about these pads.
