Those turned out great, but that valve stem must be painted or something. Love the center caps

Yeah, leave the center caps the way they are. They really help tie the whole thing together.

Sorry for the grainy pix. I'll take better ones tomorrow when I've got my Megans and during the daylight.

Some notes:
I left the center caps off on this until I figure out what I'm going to do.

My orange calipers really stand out now--I'll be painting them red, lol.

The chrome lugbolts also stand out--think it's time for black lug bolts, although I do like the contrast. I don't like it when everything is black and loses the details.

I agree about the valve stems, they needs to be black.

Just drove 47 miles tonight and loved it! The Nittos are sticky, stable, and comfortable. Much better than the Azenis on my 15's, lol, and much better than the Ziex512's I had on these 17's before switching to Nittos. Course this is my first set of 215's, but I love how they look on my wheels--the 205's looked stretched, but in conjunction with the IE fixed camber plates, it goes wherever you point it without any fuss, lol. Couldn't be happier. I wonder if it's going to get much better with the Megans, lol. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Will have to do an alignment before AMVIV too.

Very nice looking. I really like how the satin black turned out. They would look great on my GP!

So, are you going to be slammed on the megans?
I think that the megans will really look great on your car

The front ones match the side markers, though.

The FSD's and H&R Greens have done great, but yeah I'm looking to even up the gap on the front a bit. The ride comfort with the Nittos' has gone up too, so I'm pleased. Not sure if I'll have the Megans before AMVIV though--a shipping snafu delayed the shipping by a day..I'm here at MiniCorsa right now--hard to leave my shop for a day you know???? I'm hoping they will show up today though--would love to have them in time.

So as I said earlier I'm at Danny's shop MINICorsa and working from my laptop. Hmm, only 2.5hrs of battery life left.

My Megan coilovers just arrived by UPS. Woohooo!!!!

But before those can get installed, I'm having some mods done first as well as fixing my coolant leak.

Woohoo, got everything done as planned today. Here's some pix I took by my house. With the Megan coilovers we raised the rear and lowered the front slightly.

My TC-400 Tire Pressure Monitoring System using the Dark Orange background.

System works fantastic! I love it!

Thanks!! Got a lot more "red" coming--S side grill vents, brake calipers, tinting of reflectors and tail lights, and interior rings, and various more blackout bits. Once those are done and installed, it will really flow together--right now it still feels like hodge podge to me. lol

I'd say that he is very focused!

We did cockpit specialty faces in speedo and tach. Fortunately I already had the dash and ring pieces removed, so the job went a bit faster and easier.
oil/filter change
replaced power steering fan
replaced coolant/sensor gaskets??? to fix leaking coolant
regreased existing rear sway bar
replaced spark plugs
replaced intercooler tubes/horns (that was the biggest and primary job)
installed Megan coilovers, adjusted 3 times for ride height.

Danny's definitely lightening quick. I actually arrived today just as you guys were finishing up (In the blue shirt ). Your car is pretty awesome in person . Very well laid out. I didn't realize until after you left who you were or I would have said hello .

Once I get a few things fixed (Body work) I have to have you detail my car .

Ohhhhh, so you're "Nick", lol. Haha, I had no idea either. I was exhausted watching Danny all morning long, lol, and had to make it back for my next appointment for all the electrical work.

It's cool, we'll meet up again soon--AMVIV, MOTD, lol. =)

Richard you mention going to red Calipers but how about a big brake kit? it looks a little empty in those great looking wheels. i didn't expect to like it as much as i did. i think these are some great changes.

I've thought about it, but since I like the occasional autocross, I have an alternate set of 15" wheels, and I would need to make sure that my existing wheels would clear the BBK. Also I realize that the BBK's would be purely bling. I don't have any stopping issues--whether in the canyons or on the autox track, lol. I realize that a BBK gives enhanced repeatability for stopping, not necessarily shorter stopping distance....but I'm sure one day a BBK will be in my future.

But right now, I've maxed out my budget, lol..spent over $3K in the past couple of days.

Looks great!! So, I think I could read the tire size in one of the pics - 215/40-17? Are the wheels 7 inches wide or 7.5?
