Just called tirerack enquiring why only the black Ultraleggera was available in 18" assuming they were just out of stock only to be told that the silver part number has been discontinued . Anybody know where I might still be able to lay my hands on a set?

 

yep...I made the same sad realization lately. Then I found a sweet deal on a set of BBS' and couldn't resist Keep an eye on the Wheels / Tires FS forum and you'll find something you like, guaranteed.

 

While I like the BBS wheels I'm already getting something similar in the 17" JCW Challenge wheels which will be standard on the JCW factory car. I really want a set of silver 18" Ultraleggera's for summer. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up a set second hand.

I just happen to have those 18"s on my MCS and am strongly considering downsizing to a 17" wheel. They're shod with Bridgestone RE750's and have ~6000 miles and one BMW driving school on them.

You can sort-of see them here, gabe took more shots of his car than mine despite mine being the other "featured" car.
