Polished finish for Minilites?

Hello everybody,

I have a set of Minilites that I was thinking about re-finishing and Duplicolor's silver wheel paint is a perfect match both in color and in the metalic flakes. One idea I was playing around with, however, was to strip the paint and polish them up. What do you guys think? Would it look good or kind of tacky with that style of wheel? Is there any pictures of polished Minilite's out there?

Thanks for your opinions,
Erik

No, do not polish. Paint if required but polishing a MiniLite would be a very arduous task.

What's worse is that they would look like S-Lites that were chromed and we all know that looks like crap.

Just my opinion mind you.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't worried about the effort since I already have another set of wheels that I could run in the mean time but I was worried about how the highly polished finish would look on that set of wheels.
