Hi All,

My mini just pass 700 miles. However, my mini seems to have aliagnment problem already. I spoke with local dealer about it. They told me that they fix it before first 2000 miles. I wonder if anybody also have same problem.

Ultramini.

I know ficcion had an alignment issue with his 02 MINI right from the factory. It was realigned under warranty without further trouble to my knowledge.

If the wheels are not wearing the same then that is a sign of trouble or if the car tracks to one side when driving that could be alignment trouble.
You can have your dealer check it and realign as needed.

Thank you for the reply. I hope this is just a minor issue.

I had the EXACT problem. I severely pulled to the right. The seering is touchy enough let alone having to always correct. I was at about 500 miles when it seemed to get progressively worse. I called it in at 1400 miles and they informed me of the 2000 mile coverage.

Turns out it was a tire which they say was under inflated. I have been watching it and it has not gone down since... but Baron MINI took it in, checked it out and lent me a car for the day. All for an underinflated tire. So I hope yours is as easy as mine was to fix and I would check your air pressure.

They could have been feeding me a line of crap- but the problem was fixed so I dont mind.

Good luck!

They most likely were not. the Right Front tire is easily the hardest used tire on the entire vehcile. Just another GREAT reason to check your air pressures regularly!
