Thinking of puttin' on a set of dem der Ferodos but a couple of people have indicated it may not be the best idea without preparing the rotors.

Thoughts?

Turn them, it allows bedding in of a new friction material, and building up of a transfer film to occur much quicker. This factor contribute to smooth quiet and predictable braking. Not resurfacing the rotors will still allow the film to be made, it just takes longer, and can be less audibly pleasing.

Thanks Alex,

So does Turning = Resurfacing?

closer to 250-300 wet dry will cut the glaze just fine. If your rotor's surface is still totally smooth you can do this. If it had ridges and lines, I would have it cut by a machien shop.
