17x8 w/ 235/40-17's Fit, or no fit.

I'm changing to a more aggressive tire/wheel setup this spring. I'm looking at some wheels that are 17x8 +45 and would like to run a 235/40-17 Bridgestone RE-010R... I currently have the Koni spring/damper setup and am curious what fitment issues I may have. I'm running some neg. camber in the rear and have trimmed/rolled the fenders back there.

Anyone able to shed some light? I've used wheel and tire calculators and it's really close. Anyone have personal experience with these or similar sizes?

Thanks in advance!

Fender liners are trimmed... fenders are rolled and shaved. I was runnign a set of 18x7 +42 OZ's w/ 215/40-18's. They rubbed a touch until i went to -2 camber in the rear.

Those pics were taken before I changed the camber settings in the rear.

What littlehandegan said

You will need a different offset to clear the rear trailing arms.

i may need a different offset, but i can pull this off! custom wheels from Kodiak and the correct tire will make this happen. i'll need it when jan gets through with my engine.
