Need brake kit suggestions

Stock 2005 Cooper S (80k miles). Need full brake job. I'm looking for good mid-fi brake parts. I don't race but I get up on it as much as any other Mini owner. I'm willing to pay more than stock prices but only if I'll get some more miles or significantly better performance. I'd like to avoid huge changes in feel or noise.

1. Should I just stay stock?

2. Should I replace the calipers?

3. What aftermarket brand/model should I entertain? THANKS!!!

Have you ever faded the stock brakes? If not, you will gain very close to nothing by "upgrading".

With 80K miles on a 2005 MCS you'll likely be doing heavy commuting or driving cross country. Long stretches don't really need big brakes as long as you don't have long downhill areas.

Long lasting lower dust brakes would be good so ceramic pads make more sense.

I would suggest-
Stock calipers
Ceramic pads front and rear.
Stock brake lines
Stock brake fluid
Stock front and rear rotors
