Retro-90s? Which portion? I actually like this kit. I think it's cleaner than than the 2 aero kits available from the factory.

As for the wheels, I saw them in the CEC showroom and they look really nice. All of the pictures I have seen make them look a little cheap, but the finish is actually really good. It's a shame they didn't go the forged route though.

I don't dig the kit either- way too many panel gaps makes it look like a model car. Not clean enough at all.

It's just a front lip kit though......it has just as many gaps as any stock r56

Yep, it's just that a monochromatic PW (or other lighter color) really shows them off. The wierd (mis)alignment of the R56's cut lines makes this especially problematic.

Still, that slammed R56 on 18s looks sharp.

'Twas humor, but the unaltered pic looks even worse: 17x7 ASA LS5s with Blizzaks as my winter wheels. These cast abominations are at least 17 lbs each and are pretty much the definition of K-mart wheels. The only pic I have is this attempt to get a shot of my left Scorpion muffler through the spokes.

You're still 7lbs. better off per wheel than with Oe 17s. They look OK to me as well. I mean, Jeez, they're Winter wheels!

Compomotive MO

Same wheels, new car. Thinking of painting these silver or getting Compomotive ML.

Not to get off topic, but mine is not centered as well (the hood abducts from the passenger side). Are there ways to adjust the hood?

Thanks for the tip! I'll have the dealer take a look. At the time I took delivery, almost every MINI has some alignment problems.

it happens when you favor a side when closing the hood/ opening the hood

15x8 offset 14 or 15mm up front
15x8.5 offset 9 in the back

Used to rub.....but just added some more negative camber and have no rubbing. (I've lowered it since those pics....as seen below). It is important to note that i also don't rub because i have stretched tires. If you didnt stretch the tires.....you couldn't run these wheels. The fenders have also been trimmed out

with the camber and lower ride height. Just did a 500 mile road trip this past weekend and no rubbing
