It sounds like getting a pre-sensor R56 was well worth not having the one touch window-up, and USB options.

I WAS READING YOUR THREAD AND IT MIGHT HAVE ANSWERED MY QUESTION...I HAVE AN 02 MC AND RECENTLY THE ABS, BRAKE, AND DSC LIGHT ALL CAME ON AND HAVEN'T GONE OFF YET...WOULD THAT COINSIDE WITH YOUR COMMENT ABOUT TIRE PRESSURE?

There is no tire/wheel sensor inside the wheel on the Minis. They use the traction control/ABS to sense rotational speed to monitor tire pressure, so no worries there. Sure makes a mess of the valve on the wheel, but thats a cheap fix/replacement, especially if it gets you back down the road.
