Any feedback on these brands available at Pepboys:

Raybestos ceramic pads
ProStop ceramic pads

Their website says they carry EBC & Hawk, but not for the MINI (EBC) and only for the fronts (Hawk).

What about brands carried by other stores such as Napa Auto Parts, AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts?

PEP Boys on Victory told me they did not stock EBC for MINI, but they could get them....couple of days.

I just ordered from MOSS - usually got 'em in 48 hours. Did mine, Bruce's, some others....takes about 20 min a wheel once you get the hang of it.

You doing just pads, or rotors too?

 

Just the pads...rotors are fine.

Pads received a score of "6" on the 10K inspection a few days ago...still not sure what that rating means, though.

 

I work at Advance. Don't buy our stuff, especially if you like to drive hard. We do carry Bendix in stock, but not for a MINI. The only thing I would reccomend to a Mini driver is to second source a set of EBC's or Hawks. I wouldn't try to sell you the stuff we carry. What we have is not bad but there are much better options out there.
