For the purposes of autocrossing in STX there are any number of tires I'd like to see available, that will probably never be. Like; 215/40/16 BFG KD's or Falken Azenis. Other good sizes would be 225/45/16, 225/40/16, 225/45/15 and 215/45/15. There are other high end tires available in most of these sizes but between my experience and the few people I'd trust to know, no other tires compare to these. Some may qualify as max performance tires especially when wet pavement and ride or noise issues are thrown in the mix but I'm talking about autocross tires and the BFG KD's and Azenis RS clearly sit at the top of that list and except for possible hydroplane issues the Azenis are damned good in the rain as well.

I'd lobe to see KD in those mensioned sizes as well. I doubt we will be so lucky. 225/45/15 had been very popular competition tire size. There is a lack of street applications in that size, and at accounts for the lack of street tires in these wider sizes.
