I'm lookin to fit new wheels on my '04 Cooper, I've come up with some posibilities but not sure if they will fit, maybe someone can help:
-7,5 x 18 ET42 (should fit since I've tried 7,5 x 17 ET40 and had enough clearance between wheel and shock absorber)
Now I've got this other wheel, the Arospeed Kino (which I prefer) that comes in 2 possible sizes:
-7,5 x 18 ET45 : is this going to be too close to the shock absorber?
-8 x 18 ET42: I prefer this size but the wheel can not stick out of the fender, any ideas if it will stick out?
I prefer not to use spacers since they're highly illegal here...same thing with wheels coming out of the fenders!
Comments on which weel to take or other suggestions are welcome too!

I have 18"x8" 42mm offset on 215/35/18's with no problems. They don't stick out as you can see inthe pics below and neither should your selections. More pics in my gallery
The Tenzo website only has a 7.5x18 on it...can't find the 8x18? Based on the website I'd say yours are 7.5 but when I look at the stretch on the tire I'd say they're 8 so I'm a bit confused...
