Look for 18x7 or 18x7.5 in +38 to +45 offset and you should be fine, especially if you don't plan on dropping the car. If a drop is in store, consider 35 aspect ratio tires instead of 40 (a bit less comfort in exchange for more clearance).

you could do 18x8... et 30 is about as far out as i'd go on an 8inch wide wheel cuz with a nice drop you'd likely rub... et40 is good for 18x7.5

Beltline (Window Trim) - 1/2" vinyl tape
Door Handles - Paint or Vinyl wrap - Ask Lagston about the vinyl
Headlight Trim - Paint of Vinly wrap - Lagston again
A-Panel "S" grill - Paint
Gas Cap - Paint or Powder coat - PC for me
Driving Lights - Paint or Powder Coat - PC for me

17" OZ Crono HTs

Thanks! He even wraps the Mini badges too! I dig the PW/B look. I'll have new stripes in a couple of weeks. I can't wait!

Headlight trim, Beltline, A-panel "S" Grill and the door handles are all plastic so powder coating is not an option. Vinyl might resist chips better than paint. That's why I elected to go with vinyl on the trim rings. The beltline is so easy to cover with vinyl tape it's not funny.

ok so lemme get the straight lol

use vinyl on

-door handles
-headlight trim
-beltline

use paint/PC on

-gas tank
-driving lights

i thought the handles where metal? thats some hard plastic!

so i have to get the 80 dollar handles from lagston?

can the vinyl tape be had at like autozone/adv auto for the beltline? any particular kind?

-door handles : Vinyl or Paint
-headlight trim : Vinyl or Paint
-beltline : Vinyl - It's SO easy and removable

use paint/PC on

-gas tank : I'd bet Lagston's probably wrapped one of these too but I'd go with powder coating.
-driving lights

FYI : I paid $45 to have the driving light covers and gas cap powdercoated.

i thought the handles where metal? thats some hard plastic! - No kidding!

can the vinyl tape be had at like autozone/adv auto for the beltline? any particular kind - I just picked up 150' of Prostripe from BeaconGraphics. I'd go with that or a 3M 1/2" tape.

I did the Aero Kit grill mod to the stock bumper. Several vendors sell the grill kits. It's 2 pieces top and bottom. Others have left the chrome outer surrounds and painted or vinyl wrapped the slats. I've even seen the outer chrome painted on some Minis. I think with the paint I'd be worried about chipping.

Ok. This is on the way soon, but.....

I'm interested in reasonably priced, super light, sturdy black wheels. Any suggestions?
