What is the stock offset on a 17" MCS? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I have a friend, a non mini driver, who is telling me he looked up the 17" offset and found it to be 50, and he thinks everyone is an idiot when I told him I asked on NAM.

Although there is a little variation with each stock wheel for the most part stock wheel offset is close to +48mm with 17" wheels.

+42 to 45mm is common for aftermarket 17" wheels and is less than stock definitely. This usually allows the tire to site further out towards the outer wheel well and might result in the tire sticking out of the fender area a little.

R85 S-lyte 17x7 +48mm offset
R90 two piece cross spoke 17x7 +48mm offset
All other listed 17x7 wheels are +48mm offset

All 15x5.5" MINI wheels are listed with +45mm offset

All 16x6.5" MINI wheels are listed with +48mm offset except for R87 at +45mm offset

18x7" MINI wheels are listed with +52mm offset

 

OK good, so the wheels on my car are currently 48.
