Are the rear trim panels for the trunk and sides for sale? How much to ship to 75035? Am also thinking of buying the power steering system? Was this the original system that came with the car?

 

Will mirror covers (flaps) stay open?

unfortunately rear trim amd power steering are both gone already.

 

Next priority parts up for me: Are you planning to ditch the charcoal canister assembly in the right rear fender well? I wouldn't think you'd need it for a track car? I just discovered that my parts car has its charcoal canister crushed and broken open from an 'off-road' excursion!

I'm also considering your interior, so maybe put me on your reupholstered seat list (#2?) as it should go nicely with my Lapis Blue interior on my parts car, which also needs the center console/arm-rest, e-brake stuffs... If you have a nice black rear trunk carpet/padding floor flap that goes over the battery, I might be interested as well.

 

I haven't taken the charcoal canister out yet, but plan to. You can have it when I do. The two front seats are available now if you want them, nobody else responded when I pinged them. The rear interior of the car (seats, trim, carpets) is already all sold. But I will be stripping the front half of the car, including center console, next week and I'm happy to part with those parts.

 

Copy that bud! Let me know once you have the canister out (I heard it was a pain to remove, just FYI!).

Really? Somebody bought the rear seats, but not the fronts? Didn't you reupholster everything front and rear? Or just the fronts? Couldn't quite tell from the photos. I'll keep an eye out for your center console parts!

 

Someone bought the rear trim. The rear seats I actually tossed. The reupholster job wasn't great on those and I didn't have the space to keep them around. Fronts are reupholstered and while there are a few issues with the reupholstery, I think they are "decent". Definitely much better than the rears turned out Seats will be a PITA to ship, btw. Just want to put that out there as they are both bulky and heavy.

Copy on the canister "fun" I have in front of me haha. I'll take pictures of whatever center console parts I remove over the next week and post here.

Thanks for that update, I might have been interested in the seats if the matching rears were included, but I understand... Looks like you did a pretty good job though! Yes, shipping seats is a PIA for sure!

I think if you pull the wheel liner and the plastic under cover at the canister location, it shouldn't be too bad. There are two big bolts that hold it onto the gas tank bracket (with embedded nuts that can spin through their holders if not careful!) and large and small quick-connet tubes that have to come off. There are electrical connections on the sampling pump, but I haven't been able to get mine out yet, due to my car lift blocking access on the full rocker panels.

 

just took them off the car and looked closer. Passenger side seems in good condition. Driver side flap is there, but doesn't want to stay open. Kind of flops closed again after opening it. i can send you a video if you pm me a cell # to text vid to.
Happy to take any reasonable offer on these (plus cost of shipping) given the driver side is not perfect.
